Where is my Twin Flame?I
In the early 2010s, the concept of “twin flames” spread rapidly through modern spirituality, promoted as a divine and unavoidable connection tied to unconditional love. At its peak, it was widely accepted and encouraged by spiritual communities,
As a practitioner, I have no doubt that the twin flame belief is one of the most dangerous, delusional and sinister New Age trends of the last decade.
It actually nauseates me.
I say this because I have seen people descending into suffering, paralysis, and emotional collapse. I have seen lives ruined almost to the point of no return, after wasting months and even years obsessed with a one side relationship.
Before going any further, it’s important to state that this article may be uncomfortable to read.
My Experience as a Witch with Twin Flame Believers
2014 was one of the worst years of my professional life as an occult practitioner.
The reason was a belief that had begun circulating widely at the time: the twin flame phenomenon.
Almost overnight, the majority of the people who came to me were convinced they were love with their twin flame - usually, an ex - and wanted them back, no matter what. That, in itself, was never the issue: one of my most requested rituals has always been my Come Back to Me Spell, and I'm not against the intention of wanting a reconciliation with a past lover or partner.
What made everything harder was this so-called deep soul connection. The process was significantly more tedious and difficult when the customer was convinced that the target in question was a twin flame. They just thought the rules didn't apply to them. From their point of view, harassing the other person, ordering tarot readings non-stop and obsessing over signs and synchronicities after my spell work felt justified.
My instructions fell on deaf ears.
After a demonic love ritual, the spirits I work with will expect and even demand confidence and appreciation from you. Results are fast, but rarely immediate, so your resilience can be tested. Your results will manifest within the demons' time period. No more, no less. Desperation, pressure and lack of trust reduce the chances of success.
That said, there is a clear difference between understandable sadness while waiting for someone to return, and living in a constant state of fear and anxiety.
I found these individuals self-limiting, erratic and insufferable.

However, they weren't entirely at fault. The twin flame online subculture actively reinforced and normalized these patterns, encouraging fixation, boundary violations, and constant emotional escalation by framing the union as inevitable.
It's your twin flame, of course you can call them ten times a day!
Twin flame believers were more than happy to reaffirm their bad decisions and disrespect any boundaries.
Were they in a particularly vulnerable state? Not really - at least not more than anyone else who seeks help during difficulty. People who order love spells do so because they want to take an active role in manifesting their desires.
Twin flame believers were different. Their behavior came with a sense of entitlement that I found off-putting, as if ordinary limits, consequences, and even others' autonomy simply did not apply to them.
The Twin Flame Phenomenon Examined
What was happening in the spiritual community? Why everyone as, all of a sudden, immersed in a crazy twin flame journey?
Why some people was really gone all-in on the twin flame idea to a disturbing degree?
Of course, as a professional, I knew everything about twin flames, soul mates and bonds that defy logical explanation. What I did not understand was the timing, the sudden certainty with which so many people believed they were on the verge of being reunited with their other half. Why they were so sure about their random ex being a divine twin flame?
I eventually realized that this didn’t come out of nowhere. The reason was channelers hyping the idea of 2012 being the year of ascension. 2012 was presented as a turning point - a moment of awakening, completion, and spiritual reunion. Everything was supposed to change and twin flames became part of that story. From that point on, anyone experiencing a strong or unusual connection with someone else became convinced they were meant to be immersed in a divine union, often with damaging and predictable consequences.
This concept caused the elevation of any relationship to a near-mythical status, setting unrealistic expectations and dismissing the realities of human interaction.
Gurus, Coaches, and the Twin Flame Industry
The twin flame narrative created an ideal environment for con artists who could smell the blood of emotional vulnerability and were ready to exploit it for their own benefit.
Sure enough, there was a massive surge of websites dedicated to analyzing, interpreting and accelerating the reunion with a twin flame. The idea that another individual is destined to make us experience a deep, transformative, life-altering love is astonishingly seductive. No one wants to wait after being told that this person exists.
Because of its immense exploitative potential, twin flames coaches, mediums, psychics, past-life regressors and tarot readers began aggressively marketing the charade through courses, cleansing services, forums and books.
Some gurus, despite supposedly being so balanced and healed, were immersed in their own distorted twin flame journeys, so they knew exactly what people wanted to hear.
According to them, the core twin flame principles were:
- The union was inevitable.
- Twin flames were on a the path toward becoming multidimensional beings.
- The journey was an endless evolution of the soul, moving closer to perfection.
- Twin flame experiences involved constant cycles of union and separation.
- The universe was using the dynamic as a tool to motivate the believer.
- The energy was described as being similar to possession by a holy spirit.
- The goal was to create a better world through their union - twin flames were said to be here to raise the consciousness of the planet.
- If the twin flame was abusive or a psychopath, it didn't matter, because this was all about unconditional love.
- If there was no sign of interest from the other person, it meant they were the “runner” and you were the “chaser" (you can bet)
- And if the union never manifested, there was always reassurance: you would be reunited with your twin flame in the next life!
I had never seen anything so detached from reality.
Is the Twin Flame Union Inevitable?
If you take a look inside twin flame communities, you'll rarely find success stories. The believers are always waiting or stuck in a perpetual separation phase. If the union is meant to be, why is no one actually with their other half?
After investing so much time and energy into signs, it's difficult to give up. When this happens, delusional people get creative. It's time to adapt the narrative. According to twin flame experts, the union is delayed because both members had to reach a state of perfection before the final meeting. You need to heal the parts of yourself that you lost along the way due to trauma before the reunion. When religion enters the picture, the explanation becomes even more convenient: the delay is framed as divine favor, a test, or a lesson imposed by higher forces.
No loving deity would ever do this to someone.
At the end, when failure is impossible to ignore, the conclusion is that this spiritual awakening will make you learn that this connection has nothing to do with the other person, because it's a journey of self love. Twin Flames, suddenly, are never meant to be romantically at all.
What's the point then? If you have such an intense magnetism to a person, It's usually mean in some form of romantic or sexual resolution.
The reason is simple - and this is where things become sinister. Many twin flame believers have never been involved with their supposed twin flames. In some cases, they don’t even know them at all.

A Luciferian Perspective on the Twin Flame Narrative
In practice, twin flame believers respond in one of two ways, and both are wrong.
Either the believer becomes active in the worst possible way - chasing, pressuring, and rationalizing boundary violations - or they become entirely passive, daydreaming and waiting at home for destiny to deliver. Or maybe they engage in self-improvement and personal growth in preparation for the union, while still relying on the universe to make things happen, something that never works.
We Luciferians know that fate is not always going to cooperate. No matter how beautiful or intense, human connections aren’t always guaranteed to end up in a permanent union. Why should they? How many times have you experienced a special chemistry with someone and nothing has come from it? If you are of a certain age, you already know what I mean.
Destiny negates the concept of free will and we Luciferians are proactive. Our path encourages us to change and take action. We don't leave the matters to karma. This is also why we work with demons and do magick. Not to surrender responsibility, but to align our will with forces that help remove obstacles, clarify direction, and accelerate transformation.
The timing of the spells' results is perfect because they manifest at the right moment, usually when everything is in place... including yourself. You don't need to really change anything if you just want a hook up, but if the relationship has the potential to be trascendental, refinement is required. I'm always clear about this. No ritual will rescue you from your circumstances if you are unprepared. Demons expect discipline and self-education. While you work on yourself, they move circumstances, remove obstacles, and open paths for your desire to materialize.
That is why I don't see the “you must become better” aspect of the twin flame narrative as entirely negative. Some former believers do emerge from the twin flame trap wiser and stronger after years of over analyzing themselves, mirroring their fears and pushing them into their highest potential. Others end up with nothing to show or a restraining order.
Growth can happen under almost any circumstances. That does not make the twin flame circumstances healthy, truthful, or necessary.
Letting a so-called twin flame dictate one’s existence is completely incompatible with our rules and beliefs.
The Consequences of the Twin Flame Belief
You don’t have to be part of a twin flame cult to be at risk.
If you think that years of irrational behavior and wasted time fixated on a fantasy relationship have no emotional consequences, you are wrong.
This spiritual delusion also has a chance of sabotaging your chances of being genuinely happy with someone in a real, lasting relationship, at a time when opportunities for lasting connections are most abundant.
I remember a popular blog about Twin Flames that was trending back then.
The owner's "twin flame journey" consisted of staying at home, obsessing over absurd coincidences ("he called me today 11+1+2017=1111"), raising her vibration - whatever it meant- and studying the twin flame concept full-time. She dismissed skeptics as bitter people who had never experienced true love and spoke down to anyone who questioned her certainty.
She wasn't achieving anything specific but she was convinced: the man she was in love with was her twin flame. The reunion was around the corner. 2012 was the year. Then 2014 was the year. Then 2016 was the year, later 2017 and so on.
At the beginning, her writing sounded more or less coherent. The language was inflated, but still anchored enough to pass as spiritual reflection. As time went on and the promised reunion failed to materialize, the narrative began to unravel. Eventually, the blog drifted into a bizarre cosmology. Angels, dragons, and fifth-dimensional beings entered the story. Even common illnesses were reframed as soul-sponsored: a flu was a sign that the reunion was approaching on a higher plane.
This is why I cannot stress enough the importance of getting out.
In her last post, almost a decade after the start of her twin flame journey, the blog owner's admitted she had met the man only once... in ten years. The entire relationship had existed exclusively online. Years of interpretation, projection, and emotional investment had unfolded without any real intimacy, or sustained contact.
Luckily, she accepted that was time to give up. Her conclusion was that the man in question was a false twin flame - a so-called spiritual usurper who, according to her, had killed the genuine twin flame in a past life. Okay.
Most publicly shared twin flame experiences by believers follow the same pattern. None of them seem to be in a good head space. The signs are mundane and commonplace. They are determined to chase the dream at all costs, even when the journey is becoming unsustainable. The resolution is just as predictable: there is no reunion, no twin flame, and no promised ascension. In some cases, the believers' chance of being genuinely happy are severely compromised by this so-called soul connection. They are too obsessed, too exhausted, and too deeply immersed in the twin flame universe for anything healthy to emerge. Some of them even stopped having sex entirely as part of an obsessive attempt to purify their bodies for their twin flames.
Others, less fortunate, simply began the same twin flame process again. This time with someone else.
Why You Must Forget About Your "Twin Flame"
You may find my position too cynical and strange. Why would a witch dismiss something presented as an ancient spiritual truth?
The reason is simple: this ancient truth is now a troubling concept based on delusion and metaphysical deception, and it's causing real harm in people's lives. This is why much of New Age spirituality is dangerous: it promotes a lot of unhealthy ideas, now accesible to anyone.
If you have been chasing or waiting for a specific person because you believed they were your twin flame, I urge you to stop and move on now. Consider yourself fortunate to have recognized it and step away before it costs you more. Many never do.
That's the difference between motivation and obsession.
Free yourself from the idea that only one person is “meant” for you.
You'll find love once again. And you will be happier when you stop demanding that one person carry the weight of destiny.
How beautiful and exciting is to embrace the unknown!

Backstory? Huge. But the thought about the ‘’Twin Flame’’ does not matter anymore to me.
Invocation to the cosmic wave taking over women, called Lilith in a metaphorical sense:
Free and adorned with wings, blowing a sweet warm wind, which embraces with the affection of a mother in a spiritual mating and awakens the flame of rebirth.
Who fled to the desert of oblivion, thirsting for revenge, endless obsession and the void remaining, your wildest instincts in control.
Free and marked by suffering, your horned crown was born, expressing the majesty of a queen, not to bow as a slave but as a companion and consort.
Extending my hand with pure intention, recognizing your independence and self-mastery, a lone wanderer like you.
No bond of oaths i shall enforce. Do not let the fear of Patriarchy lead you to misery, for i do not seek i slave to be bound to me.
Take your own kingdom, the Matriarchy and let us rule together as equals.
As you can see, i now know what i seek. The concept of the Soul Mate is good and can be real but it shouldn’t be the focus. After all ‘’It just happens and lasts or passes’’
The focus should be the nature and personality of the person. Not necessarily what they express but what lies beneath, inside them. We just have to be able to see inside, given the chance and be lucky. Thats all.
I recently watched the Canadian television expose on the Twin Flame Universe cult, which while not coming up with the concept itself, did a lot to promote and turn it viral. Extremely frustrating and disturbing stuff, had to pause it repeatedly to get through the whole thing. The cult leaders deserve to be behind bars.
Anyone who has people in their lives that believe, for instance, in “the law of attraction” and things of this sort, know how harmful and disempowering they are. In essence, these belief systems rob one of any sort of capacity to meaningfully engage with negative occurrences and setbacks in one’s life. There can be no growth, no change, no evolution.
Luciferianism, as Lilith points out, is the complete opposite. It’s a path of self-empowerment, responsibility and bettering oneself, while knowing full well there is no grand plan or end-of-history moment, nor an intelligent/sentient universe that wants what’s best for us. If anything, black magick is a declaration of war against “fate and the universe”, as the new agers would put it, or “god’s plan for you”, as abrahamic believers would. Two sides of the same self-limiting coin.
Lilith’s no-nonsense approach to new age hokum was one of the first indications I got that she’s different from what’s out there in terms of practice and belief, even before I saw tangible and undeniable results. Also worth noting, her strong injunctions against the misuse of divinatory practices and tarot cards, a trap that a lot of LHP practitioners seem to fall into as well.
Thank you for the write-ups and posts. Always given me a lot to reflect on.
Well written, and very truthful.
Hail!
We feel the exasperation throughout the article, regarding this myth of twin flames.
Just the time Lila answered a question on Instagram, regarding twin flames and the New Age, I immediately felt that it was something that annoyed her more than anything else, ha ha ha.
To get serious again, I had heard of the concept of twin flames but I didn’t really believe in it at the time.
And like anyone else, at that time, I saw tons of websites, advice, information on visions of the future, hidden messages given by higher entities, indigo children and so on….
Everything I saw and read on these subjects mentioned just before in relation to the New Age disgusted me more than anything else, because I had this impression that everyone could benefit from it except me.
I was wondering about myself and my future, but I wasn’t going to fall into that type of thinking because deep down I hated it.
I was right to do so because given what has already been described for twin flames, I don’t dare imagine what the other movements would be like regarding the “brainwashing” that this New Age spirituality has brought.
Especially since it seems to me that there is also another movement that seems to have arrived at about the same time as the New Age: Wiccanism.
And given the few quick searches I had done on Wiccanism, I strongly doubt that Lila considers herself a Wiccan, given her way of saying things and denouncing, especially what is false and what is likely to lead to charlatans.
“How beautiful and exciting it is to embrace the unknown”: I agree with this sentence because I find myself in it, after having embraced Luciferianism on my side.🔥🖤
Thank you to Lila for writing yet another sensible post. Firstly, most people start resorting to casters only for the purpose of love, especially from the state of desperation, as they feel helpless about their current situation. In fact, so much of homework comes with it that is energy-based, especially with regards to detachment and letting go. As hard as it is to clip the wings of the butterflies in our stomachs, please listen to Lila on this one, as it has direct implications on the outcome of her work.
Secondly, the twin flame concept introduces rises and falls into the plot and normalizes them, so much so that one is bound to believe that disrespect and violation of boundaries from the other half is a part of the divine plan, wherein the couple is tested before reunion. Energetically speaking, we are opening ourselves to downgrades as we think that the person has to run before we get hold of them, since that’s how twin flame scripts are supposed to roll. In essence, we are creating our own obstacles, instead of sitting back and seeing how things progress.
Finally, open yourself to the possibility that you are not a know it all and sometimes, the demons themselves allow us to run into the wrong people and make mistakes in relationships, so that we learn from them and develop more relationship-based intelligence when a finer long term partner comes along. Things are not the end all-be all if your supposed twin flame never shows up to save the world together. Save your dignity first since the demons dig and assured and confident people. Coincidentally, this mindset also attracts others, so that’s a win-win.
