Why Luciferians Don’t Use Sage and What They Burn Instead

Why Luciferians Don’t Use Sage and What They Burn Instead

In many spiritual traditions, sage is burned to “cleanse” a space.

But sage is not neutral to us, Luciferians. The very act of burning it, in essence, a declaration of war against demons.

Surprised? No wonder.  And the reason goes deeper than trends. Allow me to explain.

I was in Africa with father's my family, many many years ago, when I discover one of the most shocking truths for a Luciferian: sage is a demonic repellent and we don't have to use it. Between cities, we stopped by a local house (I don't remember why now). The smell of cannabis was so strong I even experienced second-hand nausea. We were informed that the owner had it in the house to "repeal bad spirits".

I 'm sure he had it for other reasons as well, though.

When I saw my mother, a few weeks later, she confirmed the information: cannabis was an entity cleanser, like sage. What, sage? I believed sage was this amazing neutralizer to protect us against bad forces. No, she said, demonic witches never burn sage. When I thought about it, I realized that I had always seen her burning multiple herbs, but never sage.

The Hidden Truth Behind Sage

Where is the correlation between cannabis and sage? Turned out both sage and cannabis produce many of the same types of aromatic compounds called terpenes.

Terpenes are natural chemicals found in plants that give them their fragrance. Sage and cannabis share three: pinene, caryophyllene, limonene. When burned, these terpenes release a resinous, pungent, slightly bitter smoke that spirits hate. They alter the electric charge of the air, much like a natural ionizer.

To most people, this is desirable: a “clean” space feels light, calm, neutral. But demonic energy is the opposite: dense, magnetic, electric, full of gravity and charge. And obviously, most part of the world is terrified of demons, so sage can be wonderful for them... but if you are doing demonic spells, is not your case, right?

So while sage doesn’t banish demons, it creates an atmosphere they find repulsive. Think of it like spraying disinfectant in a perfume atelier. It doesn’t destroy the scent, but it kills the ambiance. To use sage without understanding its spiritual chemistry is like drinking poison thinking it’s wine.

Why Sage is not Good

Sage is an "evil" entity repellent, and as I said previously, as demons are considered as such, burning sage is an extremely unpleasant action for them.

Does sage make them go? No. Nothing physical can repel high-level demons. But using it will upset them. They won't understand your stupidity and if they become tired of you, they'll eventually leave, taking all their blessings with them.

It’s a vicious circle for the demonic practitioner who has no clue: the more you cleanse, the less they come. Their spells feel flat and weird, their dreams go silent, and they begin to crave more and more ritual “cleansing” to fill the void. When in doubt, remember this: every plant has a spirit and every spirit has a preference. If you have friends who swear by burning sage, let them. What others do is none of your business.

I personally find the smell of sage an absolute nightmare and off putting and I despise the smoke. However, the fragrant spirits of herbs and plants have always been a big part of my magic since the beginning and even if they are not an elemental part of my rituals, it's exciting and pleasant to use them. My practice has evolved far beyond the apothecary stage, but I still love to work with smoke, scent, and resin. If you feel a bad presence or toxic energy in your place, sometimes it's the fastest way to solve the problem.

What to Burn in Demonic Magick

If you like to burn sage, it's time to say goodbye to this non-sense ritual. This is what we Luciferians burn instead:

  • Palo Santo.
  • Storax.
  • Myrrh.
  • Labdanum.
  • Dittany of Crete.
  • Copal.

Sage is a sacred plant with a rich indigenous history, but the way it’s been commercialized is spiritually shallow. Sage, with its bleaching vibration, doesn’t belong in Luciferian rituals and has no place in our realm.

Comments

Seeing the word cannabis reminds me of the horrible smell I must have experienced about ten years ago at a friend’s house who had only used it occasionally: it made me want to throw up.

As for sage, I only burned it once, and that was long before I met Lila, after a visit to a medium (back when I was still figuring myself out). I burned it once and got rid of it since because it didn’t bring me anything extra, apart from the smell.

Thank you for this article; I’ll know what to use when I decide to burn something at home, even though I don’t practice it.
